There are many factors to consider when estimating groom time. The condition and length of coat, the size and tolerance of the dog, length of time since the last groom and between groom at home maintenance. Maintanining the coat at home is the secret to shorter groom time. For example a Collie that comes in to the shop twice a year can take 3+ hours verses the Collie that is groomed every 8 weeks.
